Statement: Thoughts and Deeds

This work explores the visual imagery found in everyday phrases and social attitudes. These words or phrases presented themselves and shaped the imagery and direction of each piece as the layers of encaustic began to build. Collectively the phrases form a self-reflection, inviting a shared narrative with the viewer.
